Todd Batsone
Todd is a Los Angeles based producer & editor. With over 10 years of crossover media experience in TV, film, and theater, Todd brings a rare set of skills to the job.
Todd has proudly added his creative touch to the prestigious and highly rated Scream Awards for Spike TV, the hugely popular A-List Awards on Bravo, the People’s Choice Awards on CBS, the very cool Video Game Awards (also for Spike TV), and multiple specials including Watchmen: Midnight Movie Special and America’s Best Dance Crew Countdown. Add to that list several 1/2 hour pilots for E!, MTV, and Cartoon Network, countless promos for Comcast, and numerous EPK’s and promos for FEARnet . Todd also lends his talents to help film directors and producers turn their ideas into fully realized trailers and pitch reels.
In New York, Todd was the Associate Producer with the award-winning Aquila Theatre, producing such hits as Prometheus Bound with David Oyelowo, Oedipus at Colonus with Bill Pullman, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, and two highly acclaimed international tours. He was also the Production Coordinator for Biography on A&E.
When the opportunity affords he works as an actor, most recently appearing in a pilot for a new scripted series to be seen on MTV in January 2011. Other appearances on television: Cadaverous (Sci-Fi Channel), Human Instinct (BBC), Fishbelly White (Sundance Channel), multiple appearances on Late Nite with Conan O’Brien (NBC), and a host of indie shorts and features. On the stage he performed Off-Broadway for years, and at The White House as a special ambassador for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Chad Carlberg
Carlberg has written and directed over 750 television commercials, short films, documentaries and music videos. He has won more than 50 awards for short film and advertising. He’s comfortable working with loud cars and shy children, with tough businesses and fragile egos. He is a veteran editor/shooter/producer with several additional years experience in feature film visual effects on Academy-Award nominated features. Chad is a visual artist whose design and art direction sensibilities were born out of a lifelong love for the arts and a career-driven mandate to pay attention to how things look. He is a filmmaker with an innate sense for discovering truth within any story. Carlberg’s music video for Guster’s Do You Love Me was selected as iTunes Video Pick of the Week with Apple (award for iTunes’ 52 best videos of the year).
Michael Freund
Award winning director Michael Freund has joined the Imstepf-films team. Michael is best know as narrative story teller. He has won 10 American advertising federation awards (ADDY) with as a student in 2008 and was awarded the only national television commercial award that was given out that year.
Chris Jenkins
Chris Jenkins is a documentary filmmaker who has been behind the lens of award-winning films such as The Matador (2008), Riverwebs (2007) and Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars (2005). His work has aired on PBS, A&E, Discovery, The History Channel and The Travel Channel. His latest work has been focused on the production of live concerts for some of the world’s top musicians. Prior to receiving his Masters degree in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University, Chris worked with deaf Sudanese refugees in East Africa and orphaned children in southern Chile.
Scott Patterson
Ater graduating with high honors from Syracuse with degrees in Marketing and Television, Radio, Film Production, Scott hit the road, air, and sea; traveling and filming in forty different states and twelve countries. Upon returning to his hometown of Boston, Scott opened Point B Productions, balancing broadcast, corporate, and independent documentary projects. A few corporate clients include American Express, Microsoft, Conde Nast, and J.Crew. His creative pursuits have been featured on PBS and won festival “Best Documentary” awards on two occasions. Scott has worked as a producer, shooter, or editor for a variety of reality programs for Discovery, TLC, and A&E., and won Best TV Pilot at the New York Film Festival 2008. Now living in New York City since 2005, he is directing a variety of projects and developing new TV programming…
…and faithfully, albeit carefully, cheering for the Red Sox.
Robyn Rhodes
Robyn Rhodes has his digital roots in the world of Photo-retouching. In 1999 he got an internship at <www.shootdigital.com>, a leading retouching facility in the New York city. There he learned his way around many core applications of the graphics industry. A desire to produce more dynamic content drew him west from New York city to <www.elasticcreative.com>, a motion graphics animation boutique in San Francisco. There he learned about many aspects of post-production focusing mainly on After Effects and Final Cut Pro, compression software and many other useful applications. More importantly Robyn learned how to work with demanding clients under tight deadlines, while maintaining vision and follow-through to get projects completed on time. Robyn managed a few freelance clients as well while on the west coast. Most recently he has been working in conjunction with <www.newyorkdvd.com> and <www.hudsonmusic.com> to animate motion menus for numerous award-winning DVD’s featuring major artists.
